About Me
Hi there!
My name is Keiko D. Takenaka, and I am a certified UX Designer and Researcher. My background includes a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Marketing from Florida International University, as well as over six years of experience in graphic design, website design, management, and marketing.

Growing up in Japan during the early 2000s, I found myself immersed in a world where technology was advancing at a rapid pace. One of my early hobbies was delving into the intricacies of HTML coding to create my own personal blogging website. Little did I know then that this venture into coding would lay the foundation for my future career path.
After graduating from university, I initially found myself drawn into the field of marketing, where I quickly discovered my knack for website redesign and maintenance. It was during one of these projects that I stumbled upon the realm of UX design. Collaborating with a third-party agency on a website redesign sparked my interest in creating user-centric designs that seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetics.
Fuelled by this newfound passion, I embarked on a journey to delve deeper into the world of UX design. In 2023, I completed the Google UX Design Certificate program, further honing my skills and knowledge in this dynamic field. Since then, I've been driven by a relentless pursuit to carve out a career where I can leverage my creative abilities and technical acumen to craft meaningful and intuitive user experiences.
My journey from coding enthusiast to marketing professional to aspiring UX designer has been an enriching one, marked by curiosity, exploration, and a steadfast commitment to continuous growth. I am excited about the prospect of combining my diverse skill set and experiences to make a meaningful impact in the world of design.
